Today we're replacing some siding on this house in South Minneapolis before we prep and paint it. The old siding was rotten, crumbling and missing pieces so it needed to go before we could get a nice new coat of paint on it. After checking several lumber yards, we finally found a match on the wood and hit the ground running. If you have any rotten wood, make sure it is removed, cleaned out, and replaced before painting. Make sure you also check the vapor barrier to prevent any moisture from coming inside. Following these steps, you should have a stable and beautiful house for years to come!
